NI recently released NI Massive v1.3, which introduces a new file format for Massive sounds, the.nmsv format – people have been asking how to convert the old.ksd file format to the new.nmsv format. Here is the answer Actually it’s very simple – if you have hundreds of sounds you can batch convert the sounds. Simply click ‘ file’ and then ‘ ksd batch convert’ IT will also keep all your.ksd files for you. Remember though, you won’t be able to make.ksd files again – so sound designers and those who sell patch think twice before upgrading to NI Massive 1.3 What are your thoughts on the new format and upgrade – enjoying it? You have got to be kidding me! Still waiting days for my serial and the only email I get is the one telling me the sale is nearly over and I should go buy some more.
I'm so over this NI, I'm having to write this off as a bad loss, never again will you see a cent of my money. You don't even have the good grace to tell me or anyone for that matter what the problem is, goodbye for good NI.
The fact that I live in Australia means I have no chance of getting my money back, thanks for nothing. In 25 years of buying music hardware and software have I ever come across a company that treats its customers with the contempt that you do. You have got to be kidding me! Click to expand.I'm totally in agreement with you on this. Over the past two months I have spent around £500 on NI products and with every one I have had problems with serials or waiting for e-vouchers. I have sent many messages to them and have never received a reply explaining why things take so long. Last month I waited 4 DAYS for a serial for Razor, this month I waited 2 WEEKS for my free expansion pack and e-voucher after registering maschine.
Last week I bought The Finger and Prism in the 50% sale and I still haven't received a serial for either. What's the point having the products without a serial?
I have also recently tried to use the e-voucher that I got with Maschine and it said 'voucher cannot be used as their are no qualifying products.' This company appears professional from the advertising and website that they have but they are THE most useless company I have ever dealt with.
Why they can't just put something on their website apologising for the delays is beyond me, wouldn't that be standard practice to inform paying customers of what the situation is? Maybe offer an apology? For now, they have my money and I have products that I can't use. From now on I will be downloading cracked NI products from torrent sites and getting them for free as I don't see why I should continue paying them for this awful service. Bombard them with messages Anyone on here who still hasn't received their serial number, then do this.
If you create a new ticket and send it to NI, you can then just page back on your web browser and your message will be their again, so, just press send again. I suggest you just send and send and send. I'm going to keep sending as many messages as I can until they give me my fu**ing serial numbers. At the moment they are basically thieves, I paid for a product that they haven't supplied. Thieves and utterly useless at the most basic business skills. Some good news, I finally got my serial and I'm back working again.
What I am hearing is that there was some sort of 'glitch'. Thats fine but think of it like booking an airline ticket and arriving at the airport to find your flight cancelled. You are much LESS likely to be annoyed if the reason is communicated to you and much MORE likely to be understanding about the airline's position. Its a simple but extremely effective communication strategy. In my professional life if on the rare occasion I can not deliver on the client's needs when I said I would I am open and honest about the reason's why and when the job can be done. They immediately understand your position and in some cases work with you.
NI, you could really learn a lot from this.
